Xiaomi teases a curved screen for the Mi CC9 Pro, shows off its zoom camera on video

Xiaomi continues the teaser campaign for the Mi CC9 Pro (which will go under the name Mi Note 10 globally). The latest image focuses on the curved display – that’s right, curved. It also posted demoes of the camera using its 5x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom.

Thanks to TENAA, we know that it will be a 6.47” OLED display with 1080p+ resolution. Actually, if you look at the photos by the regulator or even the official schematic of the five cameras, you’ll see the telltale reflections of a curved screen.

But what all these official images are hiding (for now) is the selfie camera. The photos by TENAA are less evasive, they show the waterdrop notch for the camera – a 32MP cam, according to the regulator.

If we could circle back to the rear camera for a moment, its tele module will sit behind a 5x zoom lens and will support 10x hybrid zoom. Here are some downscaled samples showing the same scene shot at 1x, 2x, 5x and 10x magnification.

To round things off, here are a couple of teaser posters for the phone. The unveiling is scheduled for 14:00 Beijing time on November 5.

And in case you were wondering, yes, that is a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom. TENAA even says there’s an FM radio receiver on board, plus other oft-overlooked features like an IR blaster.
