Motorola Moto G4 Plus (unlocked) getting Nougat in US

Motorola has started pushing out a new update to its Moto G4 Plus smartphone in the US. Weighing in at 741MB and hitting unlocked units (XT1644), the update brings along Android Nougat.

There's currently no information on what other changes (if any) are included in the update. This comes just a few weeks after carrier variants of the handset started getting the Nougat update in the country.

As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it may take some time for the update notification to pop up on your screen. Meanwhile, if you feel impatient, you can manually check for the update by heading to your handset's Settings menu.

Update: better late than never! Nougat is running ever so smoothly on my G4, even with its 2GB RAM which is a pleasant surprise. Multitasking is smooth and I've not seen any lags/hiccups thus far. Battery life is slightly better/the same and still ge...
