Silver Nokia 6 went on sale today in China, aaand it’s gone

Enrique, 11 April 2017

Following a few sell-outs of the HMD-made Nokia 6 in China, online retailer JD.com has been planning to make the silver version of the phone available for sale on April 11. Well, the phone went on sale, and both variants of the silver Nokia 6 sold out shortly afterwards.

HMD is on a roll with the new Nokia-branded Android smartphones. Given the overwhelming demand and high pre-registration numbers in China, there is a lot of interest in the new face of Nokia. At this rate, the Nokia 6 could be on its way to become a global hit in 2017. It’ll be interesting to see how the smartphone does in other key markets like the US and Europe.

Are you or others you know excited for any of the upcoming Android-powered Nokia devices?
