Essential PH-1 now officially supported on Verizon

Just after Essential hosted an AMA on Reddit where customers and fans asked their most riveting questions about the smartphone startup, Andy Rubin confirmed that the Essential PH-1 is now officially compatible with Verizon’s network.

Wouldn’t you know it, Andy Rubin tweeted out the following on Friday evening.

In fact, just Thursday, Andy Rubin replied to a question in Essential's Reddit AMA about Verizon compatibility by stating that the company had been in process of acquiring certification for the PH-1 on Verizon’s network in the US which “Could come as soon as tomorrow!”

Rubin mentions that you might have to reboot the phone before it can accept a Verizon SIM.

My PH1 is smooth as butter and fast, no issues here, it is also IP54 certified, reason for no IP68 certification is do to the materials used "Titanium & Ceramic" not cheap all glass and aluminum, you want one of those devices you have plenty of c...

What lack of brightness are you taking about, also the PH1 worked just fine on Verizon before the official certification.
