Samsung Galaxy S10 series gets vibration feedback for navigation gestures

In addition to the June security patch, Samsung took the opportunity to add a nifty little feature to its Galaxy S10 series phones with their monthly update - haptic feedback for the navigation gestures.

Before the update, there was no feedback letting you know that you've completed the gesture successfully (yes, some users like that). After the update, there's a small vibration telling you that you are back on your home screen or opened the recent apps menu.

But in order to work, you'll have to enable the Touch vibration option in the Settings menu. This doesn't mean that the vibration motor will activate every time you touch the screen, it will only work with the navigation gestures or the standard software buttons.

Not all markets are getting the update, though, so it will be a staged rollout. You might have to wait a few days before it arrives and you can also try checking for the OTA update manually from the Settings menu.
