T-Mobile's LG G7 ThinQ gets Android Pie update

Last week US Cellular rolled out the much-awaited Android Pie update for the LG G7 ThinQ and now another American carrier, T-Mobile, is seeding the latest version of Android for this 2018 LG flagship.

The update is rolling out over the air and comes in at 1.5GB. It should reach all the units in a week or two, but if you get impatient, you can try pulling it manually by heading over to your phone's Settings > General > Update Center > System Update menu.

This Android Pie build squashes some bugs and brings in security and system improvements. A detailed changelog is unavailable, but the firmware is likely to include features like Part Slo-mo, Dual App, and hopefully the July 2019 security patch.

Well for some people, yes, but Pie will be released in Q3. It won't take that long for the majority of users....

Its LG dont expect updates they dont care about customers they only trying to sell. As soon as the device is sold and post sales, after sales and anything else loose in vain. No after sale support no updates. When LG gives pie to all iits devi...
