The Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 16MP selfie snapper - half the resolution of its Max sibling and around the back, the main camera is downgraded to 48MP from 64MP. It's joined by an 8MP ultrawide, 5MP macro and 2MP depth sensor modules, like the Note 9 Pro Max.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro, like the Note 9 Pro Max, packs a 5,020 mAh battery, but it supports 18W charging instead of 33W.

However, for the most part the Redmi Note 9 Pro matches its higher standing sibling. It's built around the same 6.67" LCD of FHD+ resolution and powered by the same 8nm Snapdragon 720G SoC. You also get the side-mounted fingerprint reader and splash-proof body.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is offered in Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Black colors, and it comes in two memory versions - 4GB/64GB priced at INR12,999 ($175/€155) and 6GB/128GB that costs INR15,999 ($215/€190).
