Watch the Infinix GT 10 Pro get disassembled on video

Vlad, 16 August 2023

The Infinix GT 10 Pro was unveiled earlier this month and is now starting to become available to buy. We've already reviewed it in-depth, so if you're interested in the affordable device make sure you don't miss our comprehensive take on it.

While that will go into a lot of detail regarding the phone, what it won't do is show you the Infinix GT 10 Pro from the inside. Or its actual insides. For that, we turn to YouTube channel PBKreviews, which is back again with another teardown / disassembly video, and you guessed it, in this case the star is none other than the GT 10 Pro. So if you've always wanted to see what's underneath all that gamer-centric design, here's your chance.

As with all phones in recent times, there are a lot of screws inside. But unlike most phones in recent times, this one has some LEDs on the back, let's not forget. You can replace the camera lens covers independently, if need be, and the same can be said for the vibration motor and fingerprint reader. However, to replace the screen, you basically have to disassemble the whole phone from the back.

In the end, the Infinix GT 10 Pro receives a 5.5 out of 10 reparability score.

They are, in fact, real brands.

What's the average repairability score for recent smartphones? Is 5.5 considered average?

Yes, they are ODM and you are seeing ir more cause the brands are expanding. Tecno and Infinix start até emerging markets (Africa, Índia and so on) but price wise was compared to Xiaomi and OPPO) so they are trying to compete with them.
