Michail, 21 February 2024

Just like in 2022, Apple secured 7 out of 10 best-selling smartphones globally. The new bit for 2023 was that it was in order this time around with phones 1-7 on the list being exclusively iPhones. Samsung was the only other vendor present on the list with a trio of affordable Galaxy A-series devices.

Even though it launched back in 2022, the iPhone 14 was 2023’s top-selling phone with an estimated 3.9% of all smartphones shipments globally. Counterpoint also mentions that the US and China accounted for half of the shipments for the iPhone 14. The iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro came in second and third, followed by 2021’s iPhone 13.

The 15 Pro Max was the best-selling device in Q4,2023 and landed in fifth place on the list while the 15 Pro was sixth. The last iPhone on the list is the vanilla 15 which claimed the seventh spot. Samsung occupied the last three spots with the Galaxy A14 5G, A04e, and A14 4G

Looking ahead, Counterpoint analysts predict a more varied list of manufacturers in the top-ten list for 2024 with at least one Chinese OEM and 5G-only devices on the list.

Yes apple have 2 to 4 models a year and not 20 models or more like samsung and all the others each year so its impressive

"Counterpoint: Top selling smartphone brands of 2023" Where is it?? Seriously though..if a company as big as apple releases 3 models a year, its obvious they would dominate such a list. This doesnt prove much of anything.

It seem like tech companies noticeably apple, give false sales information by paying bloggers to lie with them so as to rickroll people to think everyboby is buying it and it is worth upgrading to trust me they are not the brand doing this
