We are under attack from the networks of Reliance Jio and Airtel in India

GSMArena Team, 09 March 2024

Update: The attacks have stopped and the website should be accessible from all over India.

If you are experiencing issues accessing our website, it's because we have been under attack for the last 10 hours or so. There's a huge amount of traffic coming exclusively from Indian IPs, belonging to Reliance Jio and Airtel telecoms.

We are under attack from the networks of Jio and Airtel in India

Roughly 100,000 new IPs are used to attack our server every hour and unfortunately, Reliance Jio and Airtel ignore our requests to resolve the issue at this moment, so our only option is to ban a good portion of the 35 million IPs in India. Otherwise, our servers won't handle the traffic, and the website will be offline for everyone in the world.

So if you are having trouble accessing GSMArena.com and you are situated in India, we recommend using a VPN. We are working on resolving the issue and we apologize for the inconvenience.

May be few students attempted penetration test part of their Ethical Hacking course and chosen their favorite smartphone reviewer gsmarena for it! Otherwise, what is the point in attacking gsmarena ? I don't see any logic in it.
