EU Galaxy S5 LTE-A firmware leaks, announcement imminent
Samsung has released the European Galaxy S5 LTE-A (SM-G901) firmware hinting at the phone's imminent announcement. The firmware is based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and is available in the UK and Switzerland. As time passes, Samsung will roll it out to additional European countries as well.
With IFA 2014 in Berlin fast approaching, we suspect Samsung might announce the Galaxy S5 LTE-A for Europe at its press event on September 3. Unless Samsung decides it doesn't want its Galaxy Note 4 to share the spotlight.
The European version of the Galaxy S5 LTE-A differs from its South Korean sibling in a few key areas.
The 5" Super AMOLED screen is of 1080p resolution, not QHD. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Samsung's Exynos 5430 chipset with 2GB of RAM. Its South Korean sibling packs a Snapdragon 805 chipset, QHD screen and 3GB of RAM.
The rest of the specifications are left unchanged, including the 16MP camera, fingerprint and heart rate sensors and 2,800mAh battery.

Dear Samsung Not interested in an an inferior version of something that you already make. I'm afraid Glam doesn't cut it when we are seeking high performance that beats the competition, so; QHD, 3gb, 32gb + sd, powered by the fastest chip...

Samsung will do that but first S6 Advanced extreme super duper ultimate master edition for kore must be appeared. I really hate samsung for this, I just canceled my contract with S5... Never Samsung again!

Again I don't believe so, am pretty sure cat 4 (150 mbps down) is the best anyone has been able to do outside of Korea so far, and even that is extremely rare. But if I'm wrong about that, can someone please correct me.
