Cynicelectronic, 03 Aug 2023In 2001 I recorded DJ mixes from radio straight to mp3 on 6... morenever used it for that, also your headphones needed to be connected to function as a FM antenna.
But i did convert cd or Napster/Kazaa tracks to 56kbit 22khz stereo mp3's so i could get almost 150 minutes of music on it. (after using the dreaded Nokia DRM software)

Samsung Advice, 04 Sep 2022The phone has the internet, especially for downloading ring... moreyep well in a way, IT had GPRS so it could receive data and used WAP that used WML pages instead of HTML, you didn't get acces to the world wide web most of the time, but to local service provide by your local mobile provider.
Some gave you acces to the web but you still where only able to acces wml pages, not html
Later came i-mode but not many phones supported this and only one provider in my country provided it.
my only experience with WAP was on my 5510 when my provider offered free acces to it's internal pages. Later when they made it 5 Belgian franks (€ 0.125) per sessions of 1 MB i stopped using it after a while.

ss, 06 May 2021did it have internet? The phone has the internet, especially for downloading ringtones, melodies, vibration types, and other sounds. Also weird design.

Indeed 64 Mb, because it's capable of storing and playing back mp3 files. It's like one of those early multimedia phones.

tsu, 09 Nov 2011IMHO this phone is no mp3 player, you can't just drop an mp... moreWell hello... it was 2001. It was not all plug and play back then you know. Also Mp3s were not everybodies choice of download. And if you know about mobiles back then you would know that nothing was universal. Each company had it's own way of doing things. So much simpler now.
