I don't get it why it's not there, unless there is some new way of stabilizing images that everyone is quite about. Another thing is why they are making phones so wide nowadays 76 mm that is crazy you cannot hold it in you had properly and I am 6'2 so i don't have small hands, and if you add some case on top that is even worse.

You don't need the fastest SoC to have a good user experience. It boils down on the software. Nokia can't be compared to a company like Huawei and Samsung, that mainly cater to people like you that think that having the latest smartphone with the fastest SoC is what matters most. Nokia caters to an audience that don't need the newest and the fastest SoC in their phone. They want a phone that works and free of unnecessary bells and whistles.

People should just not use their phones near or in the water. IP6x certification is a luxury! I agree on the need for better camera software cuz the one on the Nokia 8.1 was pure trash which is why I use a Google Camera port for my device. And Nokia just wants to sell decent phones for a decent price so releasing flagship killers is pretty low on their list.

Nokia is so good at design, quality, hardware, price but they are seriously behind in the pace they release new phones!! Also their distribution is terrible.

Wish they could go with on-display fingerprint reader and a good processor chip, that would make it a great phone for me.

8.1 plus must have an IP6x water protection AND a decent camera software. Otherwise it won't become a real competitor to Huawei, Samsung, etc. even Apple.
