            If they use the newest chipsets, even with lowest spec and cost model, then they can not price the phone at $100.

You think people who buy ultra-budget phones, like this Nokia C210, care or understand about chipsets? I bet they neither care or know anything about chipsets. As long as it does the basics most will be satisfied, considering how it's only 100 bucks, and probably will get even lower. I'll tell you this, I monitor a popular local marketplace where people sell new and used phones, and I have never ever seen anyone mention a chipset of the phone they are trying to sell. They only mention RAM and HDD, camera pixels, and that's it. Heck, even salesgirls in local mobile shops don't know anything about chipsets when I ask them. I may yet be the only one in the whole country who knows what a chipset is, and maybe not even that. Rant over.

I just found it funny that they put a 2019 chipset into a 2023 phone. And it's not the first time they've done that, and probably not the last.

                      Nice phone for 100 bucks!

                          Snapdragon 662 (weak 3 year old chip...)
                          Only 3GB RAM....

                          The only good is Gorilla Glass 3 and 3.5mm jack

                                      Even if I can't stand generic ODM designs, I'm delighted that at least a brand made an ODM phone under 170g with an aluminium inner frame while being the same size as other typical ODM phones!!!

                                        As a time traveller from 2009 I'd say this is better than the Samsung S23 Ultra as it has MicroSD card, FM radio and 3.5mm headphone jack.
