I think that's because the system of Windows Phone 8 OS, we had known that Windows Phone doesn't has notification center, so I think it's the factor.

Hi,
I have just bought my Lumia 625 but it looks like I cannot receive any notifications from Facebook, Skype nor Whatsapp although toast notification is enabled and even the Live tiles of these apps do not work. I tried uninstall and re-install those apps but in vain. Now I have to open each app separately to know about any conversations or notifications. Can you help me with that?

i am owner of nokia lumia 620 but after buy i have found that its service is very poor as my charging jach has damaged at the time of charging and after seeing many times at service center neither nokia service center providing services nor providing any proof that regarding service of such device. hence after 2 months nokia service center demanding for rs. 5600 for charging jack and no proof of service will be provided as told me from service center.
hence it is my advice don't buy nokia lumia phones as service for such device is very poor.
many other device of same feacher are available and provide better service than nokia and in reasonable rate.

I am old nokia fan forever......n-series and e-series especially..no other model even have range to beat nokia at past.bt nowdays nokia loses its status and phone productions..i m very sad to say....even though after long time nokias new lumia 625 ...4.7inch screen great look to battle samsung again and nokia 1020 ....how ever nokia s selling decreases ,status decrease...even till its quality wnt....i appreciate noki corparation finland.....my siggestin is like blackberry windows os will improve its apps & game like android & ios...nokia will again go back 2 its place.i am waiting for the day again ;)

In tis phone there is no glance screen, there is no 3 button light , also wifi problem please NOKIA WE WANT SOFTWARE UPDATE FOR 625 , THERE ARE LOT OF BUGS
