It has a mini Hard Disk Drive built-in. If you listen to music on it and hold it to your ear, you can hear the noise of the rotating discs. Ah, the glory days!

i was cleaning my home and guess what,I found my old nokia n91,still in pristine condition,the battery kind of damaged but managed to get bl 5c compatible battery.I immediately hooked up my philips fidelio headphone and boy the sound it created one word amazing,it still rivals my lg g8x.phone which has a DAC inside.If you have this phone still now,u r lucky.

Rest you're right about, but you must understand, N91's sound was not balanced by default in terms of frequency.
Its bass was boosted right upto midrange and then it was a straight line till the end. Obviously vocals, specially female ones will be unclear.

Equaliser more than half, why would you do that to a device that already sounds good for most tracks? And static on keeping volume low, I never noticed this in 5 years of ownership, amazing? Can it be this big issue?
80% of volume is where you start getting deaf unless you're using high impedance which it wasn't quite meant for to start with.
Mono speaker wasn't for listening music, it was for calls, you got the wrong idea man.
Again i don't recommend buying it for $100 or so coz its just not worth it, maybe half as much?
But you must understand that this was a 2006 phone. Not dedicated music player, and over 15 yrs old. It can't be class leading quality today, but its good for what it is.

Yes, its possible. But using old Nokia earphones only...
New Android earphones are NOT supported.

I have owned it about 9 years ago, it was amazing for these years. and i never forgot about its sound quality then i bought again 2 months ago. I am searching for battery, is it ok if i buy bl-6c battery? will it work with n91?

I have 4 Nokia N91. I gave the 8Gb to my friend. I have a V20 with usb audio player pro installed. I have to say nokia n91 sounds better. Probably i upgrade the last firmware manually. Its not hard to upgrade just tricky. But it does sound better

Good phone, music is loud but no quality through earphones. It hurts ears, no detail in sound.
