I am still using it today, shame that little by little, software developers have stopped bringing out APPS for Symbian based mobile phones as well as no longer support for updates on current Symbian based programs, for example WhatsApp.
All of which due to the elevated costs and the fact that there are a vast majority of Android (Linux) users against very few Symbian users.
The question is, as there is no longer updates for the Symbian OS, as Belle was the last of the versions, with the X7 not compatible with Android, is it at least compatible with the Windows OS, and if it is really worth the risk?
I am still awaiting reply from Microsoft.

those were the days when we had a choice of being seprate from the crowd holding phones like nokia n82 n93 x7-00 e7 n8 and the list goes on
some of the phones launched 7-8 years back abd still they had usb otg fuctionality wow just love those stylish phones now a days its all about size of the phone rest form factor is same for all the phones

Device... moreIt's very pleasant to learn things you don't know.For the last 17 years that i use cellphones,and without being a ''Nokia dropped dead fan'', this is by far my favorite one.Unfortunately you only can find it (not used,silver/white color) ,in a high price
for 6 years old device (175 euros).Kind of strange also,that a Symbian phone has the most powerful camera (Nokia 808),after all these years.But i can assure that the small battery capacity of X7-00,lasts long.

Devices with non-removal batteries can be able to measure system power requirements better and can serve longer use of device. non-removal batteries are Litium ion and they differ from solid removable batteries. Difference is Li-ion batteries have half-liquid form and can easily be shaped. Because of this They can only be used as non-removable purposes. And also Li-ion battery technology offers shorter charging time and longer using time because of its material ingredients based appropriate on its technology.

The only big disadvantage of this phone is the non removable battery.In case of frozen,hard reset.Very sturdy material,beautiful design,EXCELLENT SPEAKERS.Nokia was always good in hardware,but non good in software (at least for a heavy user).Cameras button in absolutely wrong place,the trace for sim/memory card,protects well,but it takes some time to get used.For an regular user,it's very good device.

If it happens to freeze just hold power+volume down+main button until it vibrates three times and then turn your phone on :D

wow, what a set, without buffering video, all in all specially very helpful in analyzing data. I used it as modem and believe me what a experience. In 2015 it works like iPhone and P4 computer and hopefully it will go far ahead than samsung, haier and QMobile, Gfive, Rivo! i love my nokia x7

I just want to commend the nokia group especially on this perticular product,i like it,its the best i think you have ever made but one more thing,,,,the software update should be made easy and everywhere on the net so that one can easy update without an hitch,thanks,thumbs to you nokia,keep the fire burning,john peter,johniyke31@yahoo.com
