Hi everyone. Does anyone received android 14 stable update yet and any problem with it . I'm on android 12 and I want to update my phone to coloros 13 not 13.1 is their any problem .

I have bought cn version and there is no esim support as mentioned by the site, will it be available with the new updates of the rom or shall I flash an international rom?

Does not support Color OS 13.4.
Not Oppo Phone app (ODialer) compatible.
Locked to Google Dialer except selected versions released in China that are not compatible with Google Play Store.
ODialer will FAIL to install because this phone is LOCKED to Google Phone/Messages/Contacts app.
Therefore, no call recording is available unless Google permits the feature in Google Phone app while the phone is being used in a few countries selected by Google. More OnePlus phones turn out to be compatible to the ODialer than Oppo's own phones. Some RealMe phones are also compatible with ODialer.

Great phone and great camera but i am asking if some one find the call speaker sound is low even in the higher sound setting otherwise video and other sound is very good ?

Kadiup, 13 Sep 2023Is this still a good buy for 280€? OS-updates stopping soon?Os updates are overated. I have Find X5 Never updated it still running excellent. 8h SOT. The only time it heats up is when you're gaming after 2h of gaming. But 1 h of gaming it's fine 6-7 h SOT heavy usage 8-9 h SOT light usage.
Still on Android 12 Color OS 12.1. Don't update! If you really want color os 13 or 14 buy a phone that ships with that version in the box. Waiting for color os 16 when features really change currently they're only incremental features nothing like an overhaul just graphics, predictive back gesture, new permissions sandbox blah blah 😅.
Find X5 Good phone overall. Buy Find X6 pro if you have something extra though & don't update. Terrible software policy oppo have, it's planned obsolescence clearly.

This is a great phone, if it wasn't fot the ColorOS 13.1 update ruinning it all, I was barely getting 4h30 of SoT with light usage on data, I had to send back the phone to get refunded but otherwise I really enjoyed it, it's fast, smooth, takes great pics and is overall really performent.

Software experience is everything better than good hardware of Oppo Find X5, the phone is really built well and supper durable. I wish I can swap this hardware of Find X5 & install Google's pixel software.
Waiting to see if Google's Pixel 8 series hardware will match that of Find X5 to switch but already disappointed with pixel 27W charging solution & the luck of curved screen with their thick bezels. Let's see what Pixel 9 series or 10 series brings if faster charging will be there waiting for 2 hours for a phone to charge in the pixels right now is a big NO NO for me

Software experience is everything. Find X5 I'm stack can't update or planned obsolescence set's in battery drain & overheating, I think updating Oppo removes all the temperature optimizations of Android 12 when they first released this phone. SD888 is a hot chip & what Oppo did was to throttle the chip to SD865 levels optimization. If you updated these thermal optimizations goes 🤯
