Decent phone. My mom has it.
Pros:
- Software is very optimized (ColorOS 12.1). The only issue is that the refresh rate is locked to 60hz for some reason (I think it was fixed in newer software updates)
- Decent cameras
- Overall decent
Cons:
- Hotspot issues (loses connection every few minutes. reconnecting to it fixes the issue)
- Overheating
- Poor battery life sometimes (I think)
- Phone turns on when the fingerprint scanner is barely touched (almost emergency called because of this feature or bug and you can't disable it)

I got this second hand but almost like new about 2 months since 11/2022 till now is 1/2023 . When it's on Android 11 yes there is a few problem with lagging task and also poor connection wifi. But since the android 12 update roll out . It fix almost everything. The battery last longer then it used to be 6h10 for 50% brightness and wifi connection 60hz . I'm use 4g not 5g so maybe it's draining not much battery, daily task work fine now . And it remove the option choose with 60hz,90hz,120hz on Android 12 . Now just auto or 60hz,120hz . With 8g ram and 128gb storage. The only thing I miss maybe AMOLED display on my old device Reno 4 but with the price I got it near me, 140usd that good deal . 😘 Better than Reno 6z 5g with the almost same spec but with AMOLED and 90hz with slightly bigger battery and the come with 235usd for used like new . And 300usd for brand new 6z 5g at Oppo store . I'm saving for the PS5 🤣🤣

The battery of this phone is awful. Barely lasts a day with low usage.

Sorry but this has to be the worst Android phones I've had. I've literally had it just over 2 weeks and it's starting to age. It's laggy it's slow it's just really depressing to use. It's actually bringing me down! The problem being is as other people have pointed out, there is technically no fault. However in the UK buying from a registered business, you can claim it's not as described/fit for purpose maybe. This phone feels like 4G is new to it, let alone 5G.
Screen is dull, sunny and you don't see ANYTHING
Battery is terrible, I have to charge twice a day
Major discoloration around front camera cut out
Soooo sooooo sooooooo slow WiFi and 4G - we have 600mbps internet and it clocks 78mbps, my laptop clocks 607mbps...
Something not right with this configuration at all!

Upgraded to this phone from Samsung a71 . Sorry but for 8gb mem and octacore it is slow and not worth the upgrade feels what it is cheap and flimsy I have gone back to a71 as it is better even with a cracked screen

My phone i've had for four months now. But now I'm having problems. It freezes and won't open apps. I have to take them off and reload them. I've restarted it so many times in the past few weeks. Not happy

The phone is pretty fast and impressed me at first.
But now, 4 months after, the phone got slower and some things stopped working. also some apps dont open anymore (i tried to restart it multiple times)

Well, it has a large IPS 120hz refresh rate screen and a modest 4000mah battery.. it was expected.. but the 18w charging was unexpected.. i have the reno4 lite (f17 pro) and same battery with 30w vooc 4.0 and i really didn't expect them to not put it on the 4z 5g too...but due to amoled 60hz screen i manage a 7+hour SoT on a regular basis..
