To be honest people are so dramatic, I own this model and it's overall a pretty good phone, it can handle my daily needs and I owned this since somewhere in September, but people here just scream with their bad experience, Like it does not help, just go to customer support instead of yelling on a online comment section since it wont help you at all.
(I am not hating on people, I just want people to stop with their madness on this comment section.)

Within three months the display failed and also camera problem. Very bad experience

I used an android 7 phone until 2021 because i rather made use of root access instead of gimmick updates. (because this bricked ota updates but at least i had the features i wanted, not some fancy emoji updates who could just be implemented manually with root, as an example). Well, each on their own.

One year longer software updates won't be that much fun anyways if the cpu can't keep up with the more demanding newer software versions. Furthermore, an android phone can work just fine for years without any updates. Never touch a running system. The mm thinner is nitpicking hipster designer stupidity, but yeah each on their own..

you have to suffer, 15 May 2022just buy a Flagship android or an iPhone. you'll forge... moreI'd never throw my money out of the window for a fruit phone and the walled garden. All they do is grab your money while others give you more features for the same price or less. Example: iPhone 11-13 (non-pro) has no telephoto cam, while Samsung Galaxy S10-22 has (and the ultra even a periscope, the iPhone Pro Max doesn't)

I'd go for Realme 9 pro+ for camera or Samsung A52s 5G for upper midrange cpu and features. If you need more, a S20 FE 5G as an allrounder or Mi 11 Ultra / Vivo X70 Pro+ / S21 Ultra for camera centric phones. Current year flagships aren't worth the money until now imo (all the same camera sensors mostly and a heater oven SD 8 Gen 1) If battery life is important, take a look at the Xperia 10 IV, but no HFR screen and the camera sucks in lowlight. (Then rather Xperia 5 III if you want natural pictures and are a photographer.) Realme 9 pro also good battery life but the cam lacks a bit, gcam app might improve it though.
