The worst phone I have ever encountered! Naturally people tend to complain, I have no qualms with that,though when they are fed up with their cell phone I will always offer up my pantech burst. As I type this we are trying to figure out once again why it is not receiving sent calls or messages. This is a common issue more and more. I won't even attempt to list all the quirks, idocracyies, non-existent, yet otherwise common settings, and extreme hair-pulling frustrations this thing forces me to endure daily. Why do I own it? It was given to me and I cannot afford another. Nor do I wish to insult the person who gave it (even though I suspect that this person is more than well aware, hence why it was on hand to give freely.) I just can't stress enough how little I think of this phone. Believe me- this rant was the shorter version

my pantech p9070 is having trouble. It gets very hot while charging, the battery drains really fast whether used or unused and at times freezes up. it has really been a nice phone before all the troubles. please help me help myself. I really love this phone but it has no screenshot and i wish it's android version can be upgraded.

But that is the issue with these older Android phones, very limited onboard storage. It makes it a pain the arse for these nextgen Android apps that take up so much more space.

I got this, used, as my first phone. It works well, but I haven't found a way to get service. I rate this: 7/10.

Love this phone. I drop it like once a week never a dent. I lost the back lens cover but the camera still works fine. Must be over 4 years now. Wish they still made them.

Pantech Burst 9070 unlocked att version served me well 4 years only started acting up in the last 8 months low space icon hampers even after deleting & sending everything to a 32GB SD only options is reset I've got two batteries they barely get me through the day this and my blackberry torch 8700 are the only two smart phone I've every owned before that a Motorola razer. now what? newer phones allow you to format an external SD as an internal storage device not to many of those on the market in 2016.

You can put an unofficial port of Cyanogenmod 11 on there. It works pretty good with the exception of the battery dying 4 times a day. But I think it's time to replace the battery in the phone since it's 3.5 years old. It works as a decent backup phone though when I need something small.

I purchased this phone over three years ago (I can't remember when). It has been pretty reliable aside from the malfunctioning when the memory is full. I've had to do several hard resets (I only lost my information during one reset, in the others I only needed to re-install my apps). I really like this phone and the main reason why I'm getting rid of it is because I've just grown tired of it. I've dropped it SEVERAL times (up to 2-3x per week) and my screen is still perfectly in tact. It's a really good phone.

I managed to find CM11 for the pantech burst but you need to do the ff:
1. upgrade to ICS using official method from pantech site (requires windows 7 to work)
2. install CWM.
3. using CWM install CM11 and Google micro Gapps
4. Root was working for me then but the other day i tried to clean install cannot root my phone :(.
Overall the unit is fine again and fast :).

Excellent phone for the price tag, except for the Battery, 1650 mAh, which drains fast.
I've installed CM11 on this phone and it's amazingly fast compared to the stock GB and ICS stock ROM's.

Yes. My problem is that my phone makes very hot when charging and sometimes freeze Now I wanted to have a screenshot it does not support even my friends use to make fun of my phone which does not have radio, always getting hot, battery not strong, and even its a old version which is no more in the system. PantechP9070 accessories cannot be found in my country. I just want to know if the company has stop manufacturing.. #PleaseDoSomething
