The 4500 and 5044 have cameras that rival the quality of the most popular phones. I know this because I am the proud owner of a 3350, and Prestigio phones were being showcased at my local shopping mall. Recommending Samsung and HTC over Prestigio? Please, your comment would have held more water if you actually did some research, and learned to type properly. People are not going to take you seriously if your grammar is so poor my friend.

To my dismay it star... moreTry charging it with the power off, or if that fails, if you have another charger that has a USB input, unplug your phone's cable and insert it into that charger. It's because the charger is rather poorly built and does not channel power properly. I also had the same problem, but I switched to a Samsung charger and it solved the issue. It works 90% of the time.

Don't buy prestigio mobiles its waste, not have a nice display quality,camera quality,sound quality ,dont have wifi direct file sharing option,completly bad perfomance....friends dont waste u r money, choose samsung and htc

I bought the phone about 4 months ago. To my dismay it started giving me problems whilst charging. I took it back to the store which provided me with a new charger. However another month down the line and now my phone does not want to charge. At first it doesn't want to charge at all and eventually after struggling, it charges up to 30% in whilst showing that its charging, the battery life starts running down. This is bizarre! I'm quite disappointed in this phone! I now have to take the phone back a second time and I'm quite certain this going to cost me money to fix a problem that shouldn't be there to start with! Can someone please give me a logical reason why this happening? I'm really unsatisfied with this product! And yes all updates have been run, many reboots and restarts and NO the phone was not dropped nor is there dirt in the USB point. I'm not impressed at all!

Pros : Cheapest dual-core processor on the market, nearly all Android apps supported. Battery life is decent despite being only 1500mAh. Very rootable.
Cons: Despite being rootable, there is no custom ROM support. RAM can impact the performance of the phone if you don't download a memory management app. Soft keys don't illuminate. Quite rare (if you live in South Africa, it isn't.)
Verdict: Despite the minor drawbacks, this phone is a must-have for those looking for performance nearly on par with the Galaxies and the Xperias but at a fraction of the cost.

He has a very nice price for the figures and i think prestigio would talk here about it as well.

I bought this phone last week, while being very good value for money, I want to know if the soft keys (home, menu, back) can illuminate? It doesn't bother me usage-wise, but the icons not illuminating looks out of place.

Very good phone for the price of it.
Just the camera is very poor.
just i would like to know how to improove de photos as with 3,15 mpixels it should be mutch good.
If someone know to how do it just help me please.
My be Prestigio release any firmware update.

Quick_S, 10 Jan 2014can anyone tell some pros and cons of this device?Man... if you can buy this phone do it!! im using mine for many months now and its still awesome... not a single problem.... i dont see the plastic problem the other user talks about... i mean for R1200 its the best phone you will ever find otherwise if money aint a problem take a look at Prestigio 5044 or Prestigio 7600....

I have a Galaxy S4 myself, but my mother wanted a cheap(ish) smartphone to handle emails, photos and browsing. She was looking at the cheaper Galaxy phones until I recommended this based on an advert I saw and some reviews I read. I'm VERY impressed with the features and performance at this price point, with a large enough screen for her eyes and fingers (compared to similarly priced 2.8"-3.2" phones). Obviously not a phone for the super performance enthusiasts, but it is better than what I expected from a relatively budget option. The screen is also very clear and sharp. 5/5!

I know Prestigio makes quality pc products so i wasnt worried on trying one of theyre phones.... well.... if you can buy this phone... look no further... its powerful.. using it now for a few days and im very happy.. no problems at all... i love this phone!
