            Anonymous, 30 Jan 2024Still better than no periscope No need to. A periscope is just a mirror projecting light into a different direction. Several phones without a periscope glass element achieves the same focal lengths. But if Realme added a periscope, then why limit it to 71mm when we're getting 120mm+ several years back. The Xperia 5 III has a longer focal length, ranging from 70mm to 105mm, which takes advantage of the periscope mechanism.

                                      120mm is the ideal focal length for a telephoto for it to be useful in most use cases.
