Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G and Redmi Note 13 4G announced

Xiaomi kicked off its global rollout for the Redmi Note 13 series today by bringing its 5G capable Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro and Note 13Pro+ but we also got a pair of more affordable Redmi Note 13 4G models.

Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G features а Helio G99 chipset while the Note 13 4G is equipped with Snapdragon 685. The Pro model gets 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage while Note 13 features 6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage.

Both phones feature 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED screens with FHD+ resolution and in-display fingerprint scanners. The Pro model gets Gorilla Glass 5 protection while the Note 13 features Gorilla Glass 3 protection and both support 1,300 nits peak brightness.

Moving over to the cameras Redmi Note 13 Pro brings the same 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 main shooter as the Note 13 Pro 5G with up to 4x in-sensor zoom crop. Note 13 4G brings a 108MP main cam with 3x in-sensor zoom crop. Both phones also feature an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro cam as well as 16MP front-facing shooters. Sadly, neither of the two devices supports 4K video recording as they max out at 1080p.

Redmi Note 13 Pro and Note 13 get 5,000 mAh batteries but the Pro model has faster 67W charging compared to the 33W on the vanilla model. Both phones boot Android 13 with MIUI 14 and are IP54 dust and splash-resistant.

Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G comes in Midnight Black, Forest Green and Lavender Purple colors. Pricing for the 8/256GB trim starts at €300/$250/£279.

Don't forget that 5G signal consumes more power consumption because it has shorter wave lenght.

Also maybe Redmi has glass back while Poco just has plastic. Although I'm not sure because I only saw the difference in weight between the two phones. If that's true, Xiaomi did good job for separating the quality of body material betw...

OIS, bigger starting ram & storage and something Samsung should learn from, thinner bezels.
