You could've took the time to partially read the article and maybe a couple others to realize half of what you said was just the regurgitated hateful crap you thought you were avoiding. And upon comparison to other devices if the S5 is a small update then the rest are tiny updates.
But instead you said all those things and then had an issue with anyone who replied.

And Despite desperate claims of biased trolls like you Samsung's poly carbonate built phones are built with very good quality. They are not cheaply slapped together. And Poly Carbonate is high grade plastic not cheap plastic. As well as it offers many pratical and durable advantages over glass and aluminum.
And where is Z2's specs better?
S5 has the best mobile display, faster system speed, amoled/removable battery and still water proof which makes a bigger claim than sealed of ips with one level higher water proofing, cleaner headphone output, better optics minus OIS advantage, that goes towards snaps and vids. Also more and better tuned camera features/extras. More ergonomic, better battery life, ultra power saving, so forth. More functional software to cater to the widest variety of people. And a VASTLY better update history with Samsung.
Z2 has design SOME prefer...TO some it's still quite large and brick shaped. Though the footprint is improved vastly from Z1. Better speakers. One level better watter proofing in larger sealed off device. So tossup up there. Oh and 3gb ram.
Preferences will decide and both are great choices...But the S5 has the factual upper hand.

And Iphone 6...or 8 will have nothing on the S5 or any relevant flagship....Oh wait...It will be a few milo seconds smoother.
All phones have started to slow down in technology a bit. We reached a lower point where nobody offered anything too extraordinary.
However it made some major key improvements....one the areas being one you disliked. Display. Displaymate rated it the BEST mobile display they ever tested and a significant update over the S4.
The camera brings fairly improved optics as well as really fast shutter speeds and real time HDR.
It is now the first Amoled water proofed phone and still retains an accessible battery.
It evolved to a much improved device. And is a continuing flagship update. It is not an all new phone trying to create it's own name. And even though it's not all everyone thought it still bests everything out there in most of the key categories.

Same price as it's rivals but without a premium design.
Slow Camera startup.
Reported lag in games.
Seriously, this phone is only hyped up by "certain" websites.
I'll wait for the next LG flagship.

Dats what am talkin !bout... Awesome phone... As 4 stereo speakers.... I use headphones wen am outside... Plug into the sound system wen am @ home.. Cuz wen I listen to music, I want to hear EVERYTHING...[ BassPlayerSpeakin.] Tho I waz impressed one time wen a friend was playin music on some ipad with stereo speakers... Wasn't terrible sha... But I don't think havin a very loud phone is a do or die stuff...

HTC one M8 users tried to justify their purchase by putting hating words for galaxy S5. M8 is no match for GS5 in terms of camera. Those who says HTC's ultra pixel is great needs some real good eyes. I am having s4 but wont be buying this for atleast 2-3 months as prices are insane.

If BB or W8 got some reverb settings then I would try them again,,personnel choice..

The early rumours about what Samsung were going to Offer on the Galaxy S5,got everybody Expecting a Super phone from Samsung,but the Announce date was nothing like what Samsung put on for the Galaxy S4,an Samsung have left alot of people upset with Galaxy S5,an Samsung have now Really got to Change there Smartphone Plans,an Start Releasing Premium Smartphones Like Apple Produce,with Better Quality Built an Preformance,another thing Samsung an the other Produces have got to realise the Current Mobile Contracts are 24 month not 12 month,so alot of people will still be under contract with the Galaxy S4,so the Galaxy S5 might not be so Popular until the Price of the phone starts to Drop

Its like Samsung doesn't know S5 has to b A SPECIAL UPGRADE...It just doesn't "FEEL" like a worthy upgrade from s4...save from the camera and chipset...If I av xtra cash to throw away MAYB I will get one but it doesn't feel like I MUST like the previous S series ....ANYBODY FEELING ME????
