All glued to this Snapdragon 400 which does the job in Moto G or LG L90, but look - Xperia SP was never a high-end but beats Samsung Galaxy S3 - previous flagship of it's time. Mostly due to powerful Adreno320. It wasn't even the mini version of a flagship. So why today's minis are slower being more expensive?

I had all brands, z1 was the last and was ok, fast,...but now m8 is even better, never a lag the fastest smartphone I ever had, elegant, sense 6 just perfect! Next waterproof,
8 ultrapixelcamera, a bit smaller but still 5 inches and will be just the perfection made smartphone! Just my opinion,...I had samsu g, htc, sony, huawei, fried again Htc and really satisfied, mini will be the same,....again,...imo!

The One mini 2 actually has LESS screen real estate than the One mini, due to the on-screen buttons. The HTC design works better with capacitive buttons, OR they need to move that logo.

If you can't make the body smaller by using on-screen buttons, then they just waste screen area. LG got it right. HTC got it wrong.

Should have put that 13mp cam on the M8 in the first place. And why only a snapdragon 400? They could at least put a 600 in there. Then they are gonna make silly excuses in the future updates that the hardware cannot run their sense UI and android because of the specs. Pulling your punches while you are in the red isn't gonna help, HTC.

I wish they had kept the screen 4.3". I think mini branded phones should not be taller than 5" in size unless they have a very good reason.

What it comes down to is this: do you want the best audio experience out of the box for your multimedia or not. HTC has no competition in this regard.
