Hey, I don't know if this will reach any of you GSMArena guys, but here's hoping!=) I'm a first time commentator, although I'm an avid reader of this site. I love reading the reviews, the news and the blog nad GSMArena is my go-to site when I'm trying to make an educated decision when buying a phone because I think the reviews are really proffesional.
I do have a small crtisism though, regarding the tablet buyer's guide. You split the guide in three categories in regard to the size of the tablet/screen. Wouldn't it be more sensible to split the guide regarding the os? Because for me at least the first choice is the choice of the os, not te size. I'd first decide if I want an RT, x86, ios or android tablet and only then I'd start looking into screen sizes and other features. Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading this guide just as any other GSMA article.

Best tablet out there Note 10.1 2014 edition... Performance is incredible. I got the 32GB LTE variant. The only problem is am still waiting for my kitkat, samsung sooooo slow to update this wonderful masterpiece

The tablet model that’s currently available comes with 16GB of built-in storage and Wi-Fi. An LTE-capable SKU with 32GB of storage is expected to arrive at some later point in time for $399. The NVIDIA Shield Tablet has an 8-inch 1920×1200 touchscreen and is powered by the company’s own Tegra K1 chipset, with a 2.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A15 CPU along with a 192-core Kepler GPU.

can you please include the upcoming NVIDIA SHIELD TERGA K1 tablet in compariosn, as per spec its the best one to be found, only thing is its 100 gms heavier compared to other tablet.

why is there is no z2 tablet, tablet z has already discontinued as it was released in june 2013
if that the case, why isn't the ipad 3 not there?

We bought some Windows RT tablets. They were the cheaper option and came with MS Office support. We have skype, so we have all that we need, so I dont know what the pre-occupation is with GSM Areana about apps. Most people are not motivated by how many apps there are but price and value. For me the Windows RT tablets are great value and offer more value at the same price than a crappy cheap non supported Android device. Have yoy actually tried one.

The list is missing devices running Windows 8.1 such as the ASUS Transformer Book T100 or Lenovo ThinkPad 10.

Although i bought the wife a Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, when i get a tablet it will be with Desktop Windows. As far as i am concerned a tablet should be a computer, using a proper operating system not these big phones that are called tablets.

I recommend ASUS Transformer Book T100T, a low-cost 10-inch 64 Gb Windows 8.1 tablet/laptop!

the windows (full) 8.1 tablets should ( actually must) be here. They are much more capable than all of the mentioned ones and they come pretty cheap ( cheaper than many cheap android tablets). the point of this guide is to provide the best priced tablets, and by excluding the Win8.1 tabs, u r failing its point and making the article pretty much irrelevant.
the excuse of them being out of ur expertise is really lame. I suppose most of the crew use windows or what ?these are "tablets" so they should be included in the " tablet buyer's guide" and windows is pretty much everywhere so I really can't see the point of excluding it.
If u don't include Win8.1 tabs next time, then stop wasting ur time and don't do tablets buying guide anymore. What's point of guiding people when u r not guiding them to the best options?
