After using the 1st Generation Ascend Mate for over a year, most of us the user feel that Huawei is "Not" Consumer Orientated as their support for Mate have been very disappointing. Most of the earlier Mate users were disappointed, and have migrated to other makes, because of lack in support. In the beginning, the device was very promising and great, and updates were prompt and also it boast a 6 inch screen for the first time in phablet history. But as time passes, the likes of Samsung, HTC, Sony.. etc etc etc, have overtook the Mate tremendously and with great support.
Hopefully, Huawei will realize that 'consumer support' is a MUST to be able to have "Consumer's Trust" in buying their future products.

My ascend mate is giving alot of problem due to lack of updates , please update the phones for your international users , its almost been two years now since no updates

The Mate 7 sounds quite good. Any chance they will have a version that can work on USA T Mobile's LTE band? It is really annoying the weird mobile phone frequencies America has compared to the rest of the world.

I thing in 2014 ifa samsung got a compitetor against note 4 .
Mate 7 is more slim & sleek than note 4.
