Ten years later I find the specs to be solid only if HTC would get it together with software support along with better marketing strategy definitely can strive one last thing a successor with 5g sounds good enough for me

I have had this phone now for 10 month, I loved it, every single part about it. But now it has don't send error on camera and other apps can not even recognize that I have a camera. Can't decide to buy a new Eye or not, amazon won't take it back nor repair. xD

AnonD-321263, 24 Apr 2015HTC Desire eye or Oneplus one??? I m in big trouble... help... moreThe One plus 2 is better than desire Eye in all ramifications (even with the "eye" having a 13 mp FFC) but the one plus one has similar specs to the "eye" at a lower price (except the 13mp FFC) so except you are a selfie slick/fan go for the 1+1.. But the "eye" is really great.. (I am using a desire FYI)

Another issue is that do not just compare numbers...specs...try how device really works! And HTC done great job as ever in order that flagship specs are also flagship performance in real life.

I’m ex iPhone user and decided to go back to Android for main reason as if you pay so much money, you have to have some freedom in order to personalize your phone, download content, etc. (and to be honest great Android phones are not cheap at all). So I bought HTC as this was best Android that I had before. HTC ONE M8 was not waterproof so I took DESIRE EYE. What to say after 3 weeks? BODY not metal…hmmm….actually BODY FEELS PREMIUM, is waterproof, durable. DISPLAY is GREAT as ever with HTC phones. SOUND not to be compared with any brand. CAMERA…this phone is much more that just camera phone, but great device with great overall experience. BATTERY was my main issue…why? Because I had meanwhile chance to try SONY experia Z3 compact which is great piece as well. And so I had doubt about battery performance on HTC EYE. But to tell you the fact that as quite hard user I can go trough the day without charging it….this is a great result and I do not know how HTC managed to achieve this result. END OF STORY: this device is best ever that I possessed, better that iPhone and any other Samsung device…compared to other Android rivals it has SENSE and this is real great FLAT platform, without lags, without unnecessary rubbish. Go for it as PRICE is really FAIR for device you’ll get.
