Xiaomi Mi4 does that design last yr. A thinner and better will come out in 5 days.
LG Flex2 is better than this samsung in design wise for 2015.
Vivo X5Max so far is the thinnest phone so far at this point.
Samsung? just an average joe right there now. Average design with nothing special and Over Price. RIP Samsung.

Personally yes i feel A3 and A5 prices are little high but there seems to be several factors people are overlooking. 1st - These are launch prices. When in the history of the world have launch prices reflected reality? Basicly these prices are indicators about the very maximum the given phones could ever retail for (+/- 5%).
Heres a small example of A3/A5 prices in countries it's already available (converted from local currency to Euros [exept Netherlands] for your reading convenience):
Taiwan: A3: 231€ | A5: 307€
Russia: A3: 251€ | A5: 354€
Netherlands: A3: 310€ | A5: 410€
USA: A3: 271€ | A5: 337€
India: A3: 271€ | A5: 304€
So as you can see the prices are nowhere near launch prices in most contries.
2nd aspect is build materials and size. These phones are meant to be super-slim and super-light while still packing adequate hardware. Im mean looks at the A3: 110g - you can almost forget it's there. Yes you wont be able to play the latest games at max settings or take superclear photos but that's not what these phones are for anyway.

They have technology, they have prototype devices, so why they didnt show even non touch device, just with screen on it? just to make it more OH-AH!!!
I mentioned xperia because if such old device could have it. THEY should put here some cool prototype. Imagine how more cool it would be.

So to say that Manufacturer A copies B.. you can't really say such things. Also, to come up with a brand new / original design for a smartphone is impossible; it's just a freaking screen with rounded or sharpened corners really.

400 euros truly is OUT OF THIS WORLD for a low end SOC! Snapdragon 410 is nothing to write home about; for 370euros , as I recall, you can get the Xperia Z2, which contains the Snapdragon 801 alongide 3GB of ram. Also, the Z2 is just better in every aspect and has top-noch built quality + way more handy features (tap to wake, noise cancelling headset, stereo speakers, waterproofness etc)
ALL phonemakers need to stop immediately with making midrange specced devices selling at the SAME OR HIGHER price of last-years flagship devices: it's a complete no-go to buy a midrange device when the flagship of last year ALWAYS offers better specs and therefore better value for money!!

The A5 and A3 are already on sale on the middle east. And the a7 is mentioned with a 5.5" in A Galaxy A brochure.

Trust me! I'm not a fanboy either but I just got no respect what so ever for companies like Samsung for what their doing!! Actually HTC and Sony are the only brands in the Android world that got their own sense of design and they are the only vendor in Android world that doesn’t copy any one!!! So well done for choosing HTC!!
