The major releases for the first half of 2016 are out, time to see what’s worth spending your hard earned cash on. For all the flagship goodness we saw at the MWC (and other events), there’s an equal measure of amazing entry-level and midrange handsets out there.

Where is G Flex 2? Total killer in 200-300€ price limit. Also S5 Neo is going to have worse updates than regular S5 (Just see Note 3 vs Note 3 Neo),also it lacks fingerprint sensor.

The reviewers at gsmarena.com collectively see more phones across all price ranges and have an opportunity to use them all. If your favorite phone didn't make it ask yourself if you've had time to use the other phones mentioned to the extent they have to make a value judgment. If it still missed out we know that personal preferences still come into play.

dr. nr., 21 Apr 2016Hey, where do you get these prices? I have been looking a r... moreSee that GSMA ? You need to specify where you get these prices. As this guy have mentioned, he couldn't find an LG V10 in Finland at your price range.

I also noticed there's a multitude of users complaining how come this phones/brands are not included, even in the "phones we skipped and why" section. It's because your location does not provide you with a good supply of marketable units. I'm not saying you should broaden your scope to the entire relevant world because it could cause difficulties for you (but if you could that's great anyway!), I'm just asking where each phone's prices come from? This information is vital for serious buyers who would try to reach out beyond his/her usual shopping places just to get their hands on their dream phone.

As for the Apple products, yes I agree they don't really represent "value for money" but it depends on how you use the device. Personally I love my androids so much that I would refuse ANY offer from other OS, but even they still worth mentioning in that last section. That's right, even them.

The only thing that worries me is in my country people doesn't even know Sony makes tablets, so accessories are as rare as ice in the Sahara. Even my old phone Xperia SP bought back in 2014 still works perfectly fine. Next I'm looking forward to find a good successor for my SP. Z3/Z3C seems like an obvious choice, if I can find a good deal here. Motorola devices are also interesting such as the X PLAY and the one I first saw here on 2016 gsmarena buyers guide, Moto G Turbo Edition. But Moto phones are even more rare.

I was wondering how come I couldn't find any/found very little phones made by ASUS and Lenovo.... They too make some interesting phones. Then I realized gsmarena also have not managed to give enough attention to them probably simply because of market availability/market dependency...

I'll go request reviews on the comments page of those interesting but hard to find, at least for gsmarena.com, because here in Indonesia both brands have a bit of chunk of market
