Good phone but snap 616? c'mon man...when are manufacturers dump de snap 615/616/17 once and for all? it's a cr*ppy chipset, bad performance, overheats etc hell, even mtk p10/x10 is better lol

Xiaomi themselves said no MM update for 3Pro, just the 3S. Has one of this and running latest dev rom so far. One thing bugging me is the screen sensitivity. Google wasn't much help and a lot of people in Miui forum has this too. Scrolls can sometime register into clicks, and when you touch the screen with thick clothes it still register. No way to reduce that. No glove mode apparent either. Another side note is FM radio app doesn't always need headphone to work. Sweet.

The battery is not bad ok.its The software optimization thats bot enough here.wait till it gets marshmallow thn i bet it would have an awesome battery life even though its already awesome

Why didnt you test Redmi 3S instead? It would be intresting to see the performance and battery life of snapdragon 430. Redmi 3 Pro is almost identical to Redmi 3 so it is hard to justifiy that decision.

Nice review gsma team. Here in dubai a telecom is offering this at a very good price along with some other xiaomi device.I think gsma team should make a good comparison to its rival like the meizu m3s,lenovo vibe k series and other budget device at this price range.

Tested on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness the glass on the Xiaomi's scratches just as hard as a Gorilla Glass 4. Between 6-7. Sure, Gorilla Glass is more about resisting shattering than scratches but i found Xiaomi's glass ok for standard use.

Most manufacturer are hiking the price of their products yearly but xiaomi is still the same offering the best value for money.. Respect xiaomi
