The Card phone review: The future is modular

08 January 2017
With an OLED screen and a body that’s merely 6.5mm thick, the spec sheet of the Aiek E1 starts off nicely. It’s a one-off device unlike any other that we’ve reviewed in recent years.

The bezels around the screen are a bit thick by Android standards, but they should make iPhone owners feel right at home

Loved the tongue in cheek tone of the review.

Used often work in R&D area that doesn't allow any photographic devices. So I bought a Soyes H1, which is a slightly upgraded version with metal and glass build by the same company. It just dropped into my ID badge holder, so simple enough to carry around. I just saw that they have a WCDMA version out now, so I'll probably get one. For all the times I don't actually want to carry my phablets around.

What did I just read? 😂😂😂

Reminded me of my good-old Samsung P310, which was amazingly capable for its size.

Card Phone cool, GSM frequencies so 90's...
Not that anyone really cares about Australia's 24 million peeps, but the telcos have started to shut down the GSM (2G) network from December 2016.
5G being advertised, with its theoretical maximum speeds on Aussie television.
Great stuff albeit 20 years too late ;-)
