Best phone I've ever had.

long story short. Had alot of phones(one plus 7, pixel 3, etc. in the last year) ended up using a U11+ (dirt cheap 150 dollars). Disapointed at first - screen a little meh but quite nice natural colours 8/10, nice camera 8/10, ergonomycs 6/10...but the performance was awful for the first days, that's until I've turned off the damn booster. After that the phone is flying and I'm thinking about keeping it longer.Oh..and the battery it ok..one hour SOT less than the OP7

Main camera is not durable. Screen can easily cracked. You have been warned.

I have had no issues with battery. Screen brightness is 75% and I have no issues in sunlight. Compared screen to a Pixel2XL the colour reproduction is more natural, where the Pixel had a greenish tint to it. Battery easily last for a day with 3-4 hours screen time. Usually 30-35% battery left when going to bed. Audio is significantly much better than 6P with the included earbuds. But ya it's nice phone like mind blowing.

I used it in the middle of a mediterranean island with clear skies and direct sunlight and had no problem seeing what's on the screen. Brightness wasn't even set to the max, I just left it at auto. This was the biggest concern for me and it turns out it's not a problem at all.

Because it seems like gsmarena's batt life stress test's script is seriously not liking the U11+ much and looks a tad suspect that it avgs -30hrs lower than a Redmi Note 4 while just having a -100mAh batt diff and yet supposedly a more efficient performant top SoC.

Dearest gsmArena fellow knowledge enthusiasts. To be neutral , this is the best HTC's smartphone phablet up to now . But using hybrid , not using audio Jack , not using radio + rds reduces this high ends category qualities....Also plus gsmArena complete review , this is a highest in higher categories....I wish the best for fact_writing gsmArena and Google the king and you gsmArena trusted friends and readers worldwide....Justice Rights just follows moral guidelines as gsmArena does,....Thanks mentioned names....

I don't know why but the screen is just not flagship worthy, I have the HTC U11+, iPhone 8 plus, and Essential, and I really can't get my mind around the fact that the display is really awful on the HTC U11+, the colors are just popping in a bad way, uncalibrated, sort of trying to mimic an OLED rather than focusing on accurate colors, I tried the sRGB mode and still the colors seem tacky and uncalibrated, especially bright colors green (Play Store) and yellow (Google Keep). I don't know what HTC has done here but they really missed out on the most important part, the screen.
