I love the s8 that much I bought the s9 plus its even in 2023 a fantastic phone if your not one who has a stroke if you've not got the latest phones every year then this device is incredibly versatile. I bought the 128gb version the only issue which really annoys me is the s8 and s9 suffer with screen burn in and it doesn't take long or much to get this. But I'm using this s9 plus obviously because its great great picture quality (if you don't get burn in issues) its fast it charges up very fast im able to watch YouTube videos from 9am till 6pm none stop before charging is required. Its better to get an older flagship device then a modern budget or sometimes premium phones. 8 out if 10 for me. Last year I smashed my s9 I didn't hesitate to buy another s9 but the plus as a replacement.

Of course it is good for gaming, good battery life, no throttling, very solid performance.
Now... I am wondering since we're approaching the term of the 4 years of system updates policy we'll get another update before or during March, which was the launch month back in 2018.
The latest updated I believe was Nov 2021. I am really pleased with this phone... the best I've ever had despite my preference for non-curved edge displays. System stability is 100% for me... I DO NOT remember one occurrence where it failed me, froze or got weird. Whatever will be next can only be equal or a little worse at best.

Minimalist.-S9, 03 Oct 2021I got the same motherboard issue after 2 1/2 yearsPleaae brother the Samsung galaxy s9 plus that you bought us not the original one because we have China made which is also in British and American standard.
I'm using galaxy s9plus amd it has lasted for three 3 years now and I'm still using it.
