Tanase Adrian, 28 May 2019yeah,about that...how do you think it is soo cheap?!makes y... moreI agree with that. I am using an OLED phone having around 450nits of brightness but on a bright day, I find it difficult to see things on screen even when the brightness is set at maximum. Definitely OLED offers better sunlight legibility than LCDs but if you actually want to see clearly in a bright sunlight, at least 550nits of brightness and less reflection of light is needed.

Whackcar, 28 May 2019Damn, that's rather impressive. Only the display is mediocr... moreIt is ridiculous when a phone with LCD cant ofeer more than 500 nits.
If it was oled I would understand because lower brightness helps to delay burn-in.
But there are phone with LCD (Sony, Apple and LG) that easily pass 700 nits.

I have a 4 years old Moto X Play with 1500 contrast and 620cd/m2. So I have to downgrade after 4 years of technology "advancement" and double the price.

Wonder who's going to be first brand to offer non-artificial looking HDR ...
Most of them has huge colour enhancement. Totally unnecessary.

In 2019 only S10 5G and Xperia 1 have Gorilla 6 on both sides.
I hate these cost cuts brands do.
Like Motorola that loves to use Gorilla 3 and 4 .

Oh, and also, this phone ticks the box for a good Android experience, apparently.

Using what's is there, keeping it simple and improving on what's missing in stock Android.
No stupid bloat ware. I like that very much.

Dissapointing. I was very hyped and couldn't wait to buy it, but i guess i'll have to settle for the K20, at least it'll also be cheaper.

Damn, I was looking forwards to this phone as it has everything I need in a "flagship" phone:
                        - Headphone jack
                        - Dual Sim + SD card reader
                        - No "notch" etc.
                        - Reasonable battery size
                        - IPS display
                        - No useless curved edges on the display
                        - No absurd pricing

HOWEVER, it's a huge shame the display isn't of such a high quality as I had hoped. I prefer a good IPS panel over any (current) LED one; sadly, this doesn't look like the panel I was hoping for.
Guess I will have to wait for more reviews, and maybe hope the Redmi K20 Pro will deliver a better package.

Where is the photo quality comparison section?

Damn, that's rather impressive. Only the display is mediocre, everything else is pretty good. That battery endurance is very attractive too.

Zenfone 5z was the beginning of Asus's resurgence, and now Zenfone 6 takes it to the next level.
