Anonymous, 19 Jan 2021Exactly, this phone is pointless unless you are some hardco... moreEho still uses an SD card ? They are slow and cause issues. Good riddance to them. Also headphone jack has gone the way of the Dodo.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2021Exactly, this phone is pointless unless you are some hardco... moreI personally like the curved displays...i know it's not the most practical thing to have... but it's definitely beautiful... what bothers me the most is the absence of Sd card slot...plus they only lauched 128gb variant in India

i0S...Never...Again, 19 Jan 2021I doubt people will buy this at 35k with the MI 10T availab... moreExactly, this phone is pointless unless you are some hardcore Oppo fan (not sure if they exist).

The curved display and the absence of headphone jack and sd card slot are just an insult to the wound. Dead on arrival.

Just too expensive. At this price, Oppo should either have OIS in the main sensor or a decent ultrawide one. This 8MP ultrawide is absolute insult at this price.

The biggest + point of this phone is that they kinda have ~10 different 5g bands available. I haven't seen any other phone doing the same.

Since we are in India and our reception is pretty meh at the best and we dunno who will launch at what band and if it will be available near us, having a lot of available bands is GREAT.

Woohoo, 18 Jan 2021F@#$ this, I really wanted to buy one & was hoping that... moreYou missed a few details.
Buying with HDFC credit card gived you a -3500rs off. And then you get 5000 super coins, which can be exchanged for 5000rs flipkart vouchers! (or flipkart and myntra), also no cost emi for upto 12 months!
And you get 1 time screen replacement at 1rs.

So the total cost boils down to 27500rs or less!

Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G which is released & available for pre-order on Flipkart is only of 128gb ROM. Are they going to release 256gb variant soon?

Woohoo, 18 Jan 2021F@#$ this, I really wanted to buy one & was hoping that... moreBro I dont think so X7 pro will be launched under 30k... In Thailand it launched approx 41k in Indian currency

Pro Phone with 2mp sensors 😴😴

                    The selfies look abysmal!

i love the looks of the phone, but i dont think its a good deal... u usually see more powerful phones like oneplus 7's and s10's go for this price these days. yes they are secondhand but still better than this

I doubt people will buy this at 35k with the MI 10T available at similar price with Snapdragon 865. Also the OnePlus 8T and Galaxy S20 FE are available for 40k.

This could have been a hit, had it been priced aggressively under 30k

                          Nice phone.

In Geekbench 5 it has a lower single core score than SD 855, same for AnTuTu, the GFX Car Chase FPS are similiar to what Adreno 640 does.
I thought this Dimensity 1000+ was as powerful as SD 865 but no.

F@#$ this, I really wanted to buy one & was hoping that they would price it reasonably (~INR.30k), but they increased the price over last year's already damn expensive Reno 4 Pro.
Now, I hope that the Realme X7 Pro makes it to India fast, since the 128GB version of the X2 Pro (which I feel is the best Realme and better value than this PoS 36k Reno) is also out of stock.

James, 18 Jan 2021Or you could go with the OnePlus 8 ..ok you lose out a bit ... moreIf it's available in the uk, it would be 100-150 quid cheaper than the Oneplus 8, so idk about saving the money

Or you could go with the OnePlus 8 ..ok you lose out a bit on the camera and 65 watt charging but it has the Snapdragon 865, 8 or 12gb ram and the 30 watt charging is no slouch , zero to full in 50min . I'd even go as far to say that the chassis and battery and screen are the same as the OnePlus 8 they look near enough identical
