Iyobo , 08 Apr 2024Has anyone experienced ghost touch on RN10 PRO? I have remo... moresometimes when i play audio messages on whatsapp the screen suddenly goes black/the message goes into "silent mode" and i can barely hear... trying to lock/unlock the phone sometimes it helps but more often it is not... only after a full phone restart it works okay but comes back after a while anyway.. i know its a proximity sensonr thing but i could not find a good solution to this problem.. anyway not gonna buy a redmi phone again.. i might try the 13t though.. but seriously considering giving up on xioami phones. altough overall they are great fot the value but these kind of problems freaks me off

Has anyone experienced ghost touch on RN10 PRO? I have removed the screen guard, clean the screen, factory reset and so. The problem still persists.

Kin, 28 Feb 2024I just playing music then i just my cp heat so fastThat is likely MIUI's default music app. It EATS battery and causes the phone to heat up in at the very least MIUI 14 (and, seriously, has a music app to weight 200 MB when others richer in features are much leaner in comparison)?

I have global variant for last 2 years,still amazing than others new models phone. .with excellent battery backup... still mobile running smoothly.

Decent phone this far. 19 months of daily use.
Part from the ads in the default applications that need to be disabled every now and then.
The phone has been reliable.

As of now I think the phone is cheaper which makes is a bargen for what you are getting.

I still don't know any good phones to replace this one. It's the best for me considering the price.
Dual speaker (very good loudness)
120 refresh rate
really good camera for its price
high nits
Good battery
I need to replace it soon because the screen often won't turn on as an effect of multiple falls. Does anyone know newer models that are better?

The phone, at least my unit (not sure if this is due to hardware or MIUI 14 issues), has a bad tendence to overheat. Even with light usage and at 60Hz is felt warm to the touch, and with intensive usage as recording video not just it feels hot, even if not so much to be uncomfortable to use, the camera will shut off with a warning about WiFi and data being throttled down or something alike to cool it off (that, admittely, happened under a heatwave).
I have had other Xiaomis with Snapdragon SoCs (can't talk of Mediatek ones) where they get also hot when pressed on but not to the extremes of this one, at least not as soon.

The handset is of an impressive level of quality with superb screen quality, camera resolution, battery life and overall build quality. Although it's processor isn't the 'snappiest', its no slouch and it does everything well enough. I would say the most impressive feature is its battery efficiency. I use it for much of my day and although 33w charging looks slow on paper - its really not considering how long it lasts on full charge!

Few weeks went by then the speakers died, no sound coming out at all cant even watch videos from fb, ig, yt, or anywhere making the phone unusable.

Worst phone ever , does its own thing unasked , regular breaks in data transfer (not related to network or sim card) , resets notification effect to 'none' & need to manually re-do it every 2-3 days, alongside many other defects.
horrible, horrible phone - strongly advise AGAINST
