iphone13mini was a great phone. Love the size, style, battery life.
There are few things I wasn't happy about. Audio was too quiet that I couldn't believe it had stereo speakers, but that's ok, I could use my old Android phone for listening to music. But it was the camera that made me decide to let this go. The images were sharp, but dark and blue-ish. Great enough for casual shots but unfortunately I needed camera that takes natural looking photos even with less resolution. I miss that phone though... 😭

Photo quality: Main camera:
"Finally, let's talk about the foliage. It's good, but not great. Sometimes the photos show excellent trees and bushes, sometimes smeared. We expect this to be improved with each new iPhone, but alas, this is not the year Apple's foliage skills get a boost."
& Ultrawide:
"The latest iPhones shoot some of the widest photos we've seen so far, while the automatic distortion correction is quite proficient. The resolved detail is okay, the noise is low, the contrast is superb, and the colors are once again impressively accurate.
The dynamic range has the same balanced approach as on the main camera - not too low and not unnaturally high.
It's not all great, though. Here, on these samples, you can clearly see Apple's inability to handle foliage properly. It's not terrible, but not that good either. This camera has smaller sensor pixels, and less detail is expected, still, sometimes the greenery is smeared badly and looks like an oil painting.
But at the end of the day, these wide photos will end up on the social networks, group chats, or just shown through the Photos app - and they do look spectacular when downsized.".
Q: This Device & Review is now over 2 years old, did it ever get an update to resolve or improve this foliage issue

I’ve had few other iphones before. I am using iphone 13 mini for half a year now. I am a little disappointed. The touchscreen is not the best, the camera cannot make photos on less distance than 12-13 cm, some apps dont run well and the unbelievable - the iphone 13 mini blocks working sometimes, just slows down or stops on a picture and does nothing.

I just got 13 mini and I am really impressed. Very nice phone and really light weight. 5.4" screen is good enough for most use cases as well. In fact my wife who has iphone 11 wants the device. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who do not want a humongous tablet as a phone. I got this for under $600 with california tax(have someone working at Apple).

I use a $200 Nokia 8 btw so this phone has surprisingly better connectivity compared to their phones despite being outdated

GSMArena, can you tell me exactly where in the review is pointed out that the 13 Mini has poor reception? Because it does and this is really inportant peace of information! I always counted on you to write in-depth reviews. I'm dissapointed that this is missed.
I recently went to Corfu where the cellular reception on the whole island is bad. My 13 Mini was beaten by a Pixel 4a by a lot. The Pixel was able to use cellular data and even download files while my 13 Mini was saying connection error on every web page I tried to load...

Second and the best phone from apple series,had iphone like 10 years ago it was 5s after a while switched to android and now when they released again compact I got it immediately, last year struggled about 12 mini because of battery, but now with 13 mini I'm absolutely happy

Someone help me choose, I recently for some ungodly reason went back to Android and of course, as you'd know, immediately regretted the decision. I also made a poor choice in buying a Moto G stylus 2021, sure it's a beast of a phone but only size wise, here's the thing. I came from an iPhone SE 2020, I miss the small size. So here's my dilemma. I need a powerful capable device, also need something small and pocket friendly, because this 6.8" Motorola is awkward at best in my pocket, haha. I need a good battery life small stature great camera with speed to boot for my job. Any recommendations on apple products are welcome. I miss my apple. Thank you in advance.

Just got it over a week ago. Highly impressed replacement for my iphone 6. Everything i want in a phone, compact, light, lots of juice etc, works well, snappy, downsides, low ram, very expensive, almost nothing in the box. Gee apple you csn do better for a 3trn$ company. Greedy fruits

Brave or Opera is JUNK in terms of rendering, features, or security compared to Safari. Have a look on an independent and reputable mobile security site. I personally would not use Opera on any device, period.
