arnab , 30 Mar 2024have any green line issue in s23 ultra?How pity for ultra expensive phone and still have issue with faulty oled panel and flexible, i just read that over google, this is a common issue with thin phone and high performance chipset which generates much heat and cause the oled panel and flexible to separate
Not only Samsung, any Oled phone from all brand with high performance chipset will suffer the same things just only time matters when will occurs
No solution and don’t believe any future software update will fixed it, because the hardware has already fault and must be exchange, and beware of the software update because sometimes software new update can stimulate the chipset to do harder than before and generate excessive heat enough to damage the oled panel, since there is no exhaust fan inside phone frame LOL

Someone shou... more1 week before only I upgraded my Phone to S23 Ultra from my Note 20 Ultra.
We can feel the difference in Camera, battery and we can feel the perfomance boost in S23 Ultra. This upgradation was worth for me.

It seems that it some cases (for example first 200 megapixel sample image), the S23 Ultra upscales a 50 megapixel image to 200 megapixels.
But the 200 megapixel image of the clock delivers noticeably more detail than the 50 megapixel one.

In search of downsides, you could have mentioned that it weighs almost half a pound, or that the typical sharp corners will most definitely dig into the user‘s hand. An ergonomic nightmare (like so many phones nowadays).

SSC (Samsung Seamless Codec)
SSC is only usable with (newer) Samsung headphones like my buds 2 pro.
I am not sure if aptx audio also includes aptx hd though. The rest is supported 100% even if nobody mentions it.

Can S23 Utlra connect to bluetooth deivces via codecs like Aptx HD, Ldac. Its not mentoned in specs. Also Samsung tend to promote its own codec

hello I'm having some weird problem and I don't know what's going on. I've had the phone for 3 months, since I've had it I've been charging it with the original 25 watt charger. when I charge the phone, I leave it untouched and from time to time while it is charging, the screen lights up and shows how it is charging, as if I move the cable and I touch the phone. When the phone is charged to 100 percent, this thing does it 3.4 times. to emphasize that the phone charges without a problem. I've tried all kinds of chargers and cables, it's still the same problem. I let it charge without touching the phone during charging, a file lights up, the screen shows how it's charging and continues charging. Please help what to do

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2023There is a rumor that the S24 Ultra will use a "5x&quo... moreI want to add that 200 megapixels for 120mm cameras or 50 megapixels for 240mm cameras would be possibly a bit too much for effective lens diameters of 6.9mm (P60 Pro) (more read noise, and the advantage of a 200 megapixel sensor over a for example 75 megapixel sensor could be rather small here due to diffraction, though this isn't completely clear, maybe there would be still a noticeable advantage, if the lens is super sharp, for example some planetary astrophotographers sometimes still get slightly better results, when they use more megapixels than what one would usually choose), so the next generation of 120mm periscope cameras might at first rather choose 64 megapixels (or slightly more, 75 megapixels) instead of 48.8.

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2023It's a shame that the media doesn't test smartpho... moreThere is a rumor that the S24 Ultra will use a "5x" 50 megapixel periscope camera. This makes sense because my 7 Pro slightly outperformed the S23 Ultra at 360mm + Night Sight in a store.
Nonetheless, I wonder how the image quality at 240mm, etc can be improved even more in the future. Apart from the fact that the effective lens diameter must be larger due to diffraction, there seem to be two solutions:
-Either a 200 megapixel sensor for (for example) 120mm cameras, which would also mean that 120mm cameras would have to use a large sensor and a high focal length.
-Or a 50 megapixel sensor for future 240mm cameras
So, it's possible that in the future, there will be a new 230mm / 240mm camera, but with 48 megapixels, which would allow for 12 megapixel 480mm photos. (even though the quality at pixel level wouldn't be very good due to diffraction, distant objects would still look noticeably better than previously, if an effective lens diameter of 6.5mm or 7mm was used because the Pixel 7 Pro or S23 Ultra only have approximately 5.5mm).

Vivo X90 Pro (also clear winner in the test in gsmarena between 12SU, 13 Pro and S23 Ultra... reading that test, S23U was actually in last place)

Huawei P60 Pro
iPhone 15 Pro Max
Xiaomi 13 Pro (clearly better main camera)
Xiaomi 12S Ultra (like i said, S23 Ultra last place in that test)
For me reading gsmarena, watching others on youtube, me having Vivo X90 Pro+ and testing it against my friend S23U, ridiculously easy win against S23U.
Also my friend having Xiaomi M11Ultra, constantly better photos from main cam than S23U.
