Technical question here: Is this 200MP sensor capable of outputting only 50MP photos? Is that the reason the phone offers only 2X zoom in spite of having such a high resolution sensor?

It lags, stutters, bugs, phone gets hot sometimes for no reason and so on. I really believe that the problems are coming from the chipset, i bought a Samsung A34 with the same chipset and it was having the same problems. Or the chip is not properly optimised or the chip is just another junk from Mediatek. But it can't be a hasard, two new phones and two phones with the same problems.

David Jr, 11 Aug 2023Storage capacity isn't a deal breaker anymore, because... more1tb Microsd are bought, not a monthly rental that can be taken from you. Maybe you forgot the OS takes up space and so will its future updates. The same with apps as well. Now we have less remaining for our files.
I have a 400gb card and max for this phone is a 256gb model only lol.

Actually its worst cell phone I ever baught
Not receiving any calls on any application during it's screen off
Deual application not working probably
Screen refresh rate very bad
Battary drained quickly
Can't continue using it anymore

End of August 2023, I bought the sky-blue version 12 Pro Plus for AU$499 (Around US$320). For normal daily use, this is not a bad phone at this price point. Obviously, no provision for a sd card is the major drawback, but knowing this I made the choice and I have to live with this for couple of years, until I get a 16 Pro Plus!

WTF...some of the photos are the same than the photos from the Redmi Note 12 Pro (50mp camera) review, just cropped differently. Same cars, even the time on the clock on the building is the same. BUT...the analysis of the photos quality is quite different.

The 200 mp sensor is a big Lie , although, unlike redmi 10 pro (max) , macro lens is useless, and where's the moon mood ??? With this huge sensor we should take pictures of the moon Easley
I have been using it for one week now and i don't recommend it , with this budget you can buy a realme 11 pro +
