Why there is no stabilization test like you did on some other phones...
        Stabilization test is important

The only thing keeps me back from buying this phone is the lack of Android Auto. I do use it a lot in my car. I have a X90Pro+ (and a Pixel 7 Pro for daily usage), and I do think that Vivo's current flagships (X90Pro+ and the Fold 2) are really good, nearly from all points of view.

On the X90Pro+ I was able to debloat everything, dont even using a vivo account only the Google one, but as the interface of the phone will never support AA, I should skip the Fold 2.

Sad that Vivo phones are selling only in China (although currently they are banned in Europe due to some tech/know-how stealing from Nokia).

Well, I personally don't, and they are pushing their flagships and they do sell well, but mostly in asian markets.

I'd say you are correct if we only look at Europe and the US, but let's not ignore China and other huge markets where they do actually sell their flagship and are doing very well.

So well in fact, that Samsung isn't even in the top 5, when it comes to sales in China, and they haven't been since at least Q4 2021. Not just that, between Q1 2022 and Q3 2022, Honor, vivo and Oppo were doing better than even Apple.

This one for some reason doesn't have Huawei in it. The other 2 below however ranks Huawei as number 1 still.

DarlingYext, 29 Jun 2023"..they have not established themselves as premium bra... moreGoing by the traditional meaning of premium, you are 100% correct, but mobile manufacturers don't fit into that traditional definition. They all offer premium devices, but consumers still recognize a hierarchy amongst mobile brands which is reflected in their sales.

Companies like Vivo and Oppo built their brand off entry level mobiles. That is what their brand is defined by and consumers recognize them as such. That's why it is more of a challenge for them to sell $1,000+ foldables with "better" hardware. They're not even trying to push these devices because premium phones is not their bread and butter.

•The cameras should have stayed the same as last year's
•The outer screen should've had these specs:
                ✓Flat
✓6.70" (current size is fine, just I prefer slightly bigger screens)
                ✓LTPO4 AMOLED
                ✓3200×1440
                ✓91% head-to-body-ratio
                ✓Even bezels
                ✓480Hz touch sampling rate
                ✓3840Hz PWM dimming rate
•The inner screen should've had these specs:
✓8.4" (prefer bigger tablets, imo 8.03" is still too small)
                ✓3200×2880
                ✓91% head-to-body-ratio
                ✓480Hz touch sampling rate
                ✓3840Hz PWM dimming rate
                •The battery capacity should've been 5000mAh
•It should've been sold outside of China

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2023Funny you always disagree with facts that have evidences. ... moreYou must have drank recently cuz this is an X Fold 2 comment section and not Pixel Fold

Unfortunately there's no global version of this phone so it's not optimised for Google apps. Oh well...

A-R-T-E, 30 Jun 2023Lmfao only 360ppi, joke. Will wait when 600ppi is available One question: Can you see more than 300 ppi?
If not, quit complaining about ppi unless it's under 300 ppi.

                        Lmfao only 360ppi, joke.

Excuse me, what? They have, long ago. They just aren't a well known brand in the US and in Europe, because they either don't sell at all, or just barely exist in some countries. That's absolutely their own fault and just a bad decision that they made long ago.

You mention Huawei Mate X3 in the conclusions/comparisons, but don't mention that it costs about the same as all the other phones combined.

These companies make their money off entry level and midrange phones. Consumers aren't going to buy phones from them that cost 2-3 times more because they have not established themselves as premium brands. I am a fold owner and I love seeing the progress of foldable hardware, but I wouldn't buy this.

What does this phone offer that is so special? Two under panel finger print readers? lol. I actually prefer the candy bar shape of the Z fold and I'm forcing myself to mentally adjust to the idea of a bigger ZF6. The only other foldable I would consider is the Mate X3 because it is slim and light but it's not $800 better than the Z Fold.

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2023This is really strange. Everyone surpassed Samsung in case ... moreIt's because samsung phones are literally everywhere, in every countries, and in every cities. A lot of manufacturers don't sell some or all units in select markets. In my ciuntry, there's no sony, motorola, oneplus, htc, microsoft, zte, nor google. Even xiaomi, realme, oppo and vivo don't sell some models here as well. They also market their phones heavily through social media, events, creators.

This is really strange. Everyone surpassed Samsung in case of design, even Google. Z Fold 5 is the ugliest and has the worst external screen ratio. It's also the thickest. Incredible...
