I bought this phone. I'm using it for a month now and it's just great. I'm loving it. Hope ASUS will continue this line of compact phones!

I kind of want to switch to this phone because it is compact, I'm using s23 ultra, what will be the compromises and is it worth it?

So, after half a year or more of usage, I can say that Asus hit with the QC issues again. After a while, I got a white burn in in the center bottom of the screen, as well as other users. It looks like the phone has a disabled fingerprint scanner, and they probably didn't use it since it gets burned in. Maybe it's another thing, like some kind of chip.

Also, USB 2.0, which won't let us use native Webcam on Android 14. Also, Android 14 is a joke, no change at all, and the only thing I noticed that changed, was to the worse (the swipe to switch apps).

And no professional cameras made a cloud storage camera, the reason is because all the pros knows cloud and internal are infinity inferior to removable storage. Especially cloud, it's just a waste of time and money.

Bluetooth headsets are so cheap and r... moreI don't know what RF proof chamber you're in, but Bluetooth is not reliable in the real world. It's way better than it used to be, but my Bose QC45s still cannot get a usable wireless connection on public transport. None of the headphones I had before these could either, granted these are better than most but it's still not even close to usable.

I'm not even talking about the audio quality here as that's both subjective and more influenced by the outside environment than anything else.

If someone REALLY wanted the BEST audio quality they would revel at the ability to use small external dac dongles or already carry around a dedicated DAP. They wouldn't use a garbage 3.5mm jack in an OS that resamples the files. These are the same people that would brag about their files being converted to flac or think muddy bass sounds good. The reason why the LG V phones were good was because the dedicated chips BYPASSED the OS molestation, no other phone does that currently on the market, which is why claiming 3.5mm = le audiophile is cringe

This phone would be marketable if it had a physical key in this size. Even after Blackberry, there are more than 20 million people who demand a physical keyboard device!

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2023No one wants it back. Bluetooth headsets are so cheap and r... moreI look at it this way-

                              BT
                              - Have batteries that wear out after only a few years and cannot be replaced (in many models). The batteries are also not likely to be recycled, so they contribute to the growing pollution issue.
                              - Easy to lose (earbud type) which usually means that you'll have to buy a new pair.

                              Wired:
                              - No batteries means that they can last much longer.
                              - Can be easily recycled
