Tell me, what old flagship phone at or under $250 (the price of this phone) can equal or surpass 680K points in Antutu v9?
We measure performance by benchmarks, not by guess work. Most if not all old flagships at this price point score jjust 500K-550K points in Antutu v9 (example: Galaxy S10+).

As many reviews I have seen of the Indian unit, it doesn't have apps like Palm Store and all. It only has some 20 pre installed apps

Anders, 09 Aug 2023Just a shame it doesn't have microSDFunny story I have a better experience on the Poco X4 GT LCD than the Poco F5 AMOLED. Something has to screw Xiaomi, that AMOLED is nice if is well configured, but Xiaomi is lazy nowadays

It has expandable storage, a good amount of ram and base storage, and a headphone jack. The amount of phones with those qualities are few and far between, even if you take into account older flagships. For example, the s10 series was the last one samsung made with a headphone jack and expandable storage, and their last budget phone with both qualities had a horrible chipset. The only phone I'm considering over this is the Xperia 1 iii, but that's twice the price off of aliexpress and the only benefits are in the chipset, screen, and storage, at the cost of a likely worse battery life due to the screen being 4k.
Edit: Tho tbh, I can find the Xperia 5 III for close to $250 sometimes on ebay. I still think calling this landfill is a disservice to this phone tho.

The only thing l... moreI doubt it'll have an unlockable bootloader, and even if it does, there's no use in it, coz am pretty sure this phone won't have any Custom ROMs and aftermarket development, due to the presence of a MediaTek Dimensity SoC, and also for the fact that development for Infinix doesn't happen that much.
Also this phone will most likely not launch outside India, as it's difficult for Chinese brands to enter into the US...

This phone looks literally perfect for me. The only thing lacking is the software support, but I'll have to check if the phone has an unlockable bootloader to get around it. When they start selling it in the USA I'm going to snatch it up, and if they don't do that I'll probably import it.

Anders, 09 Aug 2023Just a shame it doesn't have microSDIndian buyers can look at the Realme 9 5G Speed Edition. It's similar to the Poco X5 Pro, except that:
• It has an LCD display (144Hz tho)
• A 48MP main camera, no ultrawide
• Dedicated Micro SD card slot
• No more updates (Android 13 was it's last)
It's still being sold, for around 20K Rupees, and at that price, it's an option worth considering over the Infinix GT 10 Pro.
