Guys need help.S23 fe will be available at almost half the price it was initially launched (grossly overpriced) in India during sale , is it a steal or are there better phones out there.
Priorities are camera (photo & videos), software experience, display and battery life. Not intended to game.
The variant is Exynos. Thanks 😊

This phone uses 8 MP, 1/4.4", 1.0µm, telephoto lens which is the weakest point in its camera system. 8MP means that both 12MP photos & 4k videos at are upscaled in daytime.
At night 3X zoomed videos are simply a crop from the main sensor.

What do you think of the output quality of 3x videos from this phone (day and night)? Does it capture enough details for you liking? Is the dynamic range good enough etc?

This device was heavy, pretty bad battery life and slow charge. My OnePlus 8T still feels alot better overall. No need for upgrade I guess.

This is a fantastic device, but those bezels will take some getting used to for sure.

All those complaining about battery life need to remember that android now needs to learn your usage patterns before the battery stabilises and you get the all day battery life.

So this phone upscales the 8mp telephoto lens output to create 4K videos. Pretty nifty.

Is the telephoto lens used at all during 3x zoomed nigh video shooting? Or is it a crop from main sensor?

I bought this phone a few day's ago and it's working very well and I'll tell you why this phone it's kind of worth it, but only and just only if you find it a cheaper price tag.

                                      My Unit : S23Fe / SM-S711B/DS with Exynos

                                      Pros :
                                      1. Battery it's really good, i use this phone in normal conditions, i managed to get 1 day and 17h of battery life.
                                      (Youtube : 3hrs / Gaming : 1hr / Browsing : 2hrs and others apps about 20 minutes)
                                      2. Display it's working well the colors and the refresh rate is ok, scrolling and videos do really look good and without stutters. (I'm saying this because my older device was an Honor and had problems with the refresh rate)
                                      3. Sim Signal it's working very well (some user's reported that this unit loses signal bars randomly, my unit it's working great)
                                      4. Gaming is now much more optimized and it's far more stable than it was before that's for sure, thermals are ok I've tested Genshin Impact, pretty stable, Honkai Star Rail, working, ok yes the phone gets a bit hot but also i tested an SD 8gen1 unit and the results were the same, in the end of the day really depends the game you play and optimization.
                                      5. Phone built is good, feels premium and not fragile at all
                                      6. Loudspeakers of S23FE are top notch they sound balanced and crisp the bass is there and well balanced also

                                      Cons :
                                      1. Camera, after you take a photo the Exynos variant it's kind of slow, it takes a little to process it and for me it's annoying but manageable...
                                      2. Charging speed is slow not gonna lie to fully charge from like 17% to 100% it takes 1 hour+
                                      3. Sim tray is not well designed when i try to put two sims inside it they fall off that's another annoying small thing, idk if it's just my unit or in general but the sims don't fit well in the tray at all

If you want to get this phone wait for a little longer the current price in EU is around 600-700 euros definitely not worth it. I managed to get an S23FE (new) with around 500 euros sealed and even this price is kind of big for these specs. Overall price/performance = 7.5 / 10

Is OIS removed from the telephoto lens of this phone which was there in S21 FE? Some suggest suggest such.
