I think the W902 is a great integration of the camera phone and the walkman phone. I really loved my w800i (the cream and orange set) and I still keep it with me. That was my 1st walkman phone. Subsequently, I used k700i and s500i before switching to k850i. I was thinking wouldn't it be great if SE comes up with camera + walkman phone? So far no other phones caught my attention until w902. I read whatever the reviews found online and I think this phone is a good buy - I am getting it!

    hello,
    i've been thinking to buy , or a w302 or a k770i.
But when i was reading some reviews about the k770i it seemed that it was a bad mobile. (not sollid and always crashing and things like that)
So i would like to know how the w302 is (i mean is it a firm mobile and does it work like it should work and some experiences of a user) thank you

OOps, sorry, I meant there is a 3.5 converter that comes with every SE phone. But iPhone still wants you to use only their headphones, apple crap headphones.

There is a 3.5 jack converter that comes withe every iPhone. Now, if you had a 3.5 jack and used your favourite headphones and the phone rang, will you take the headphones off to answer the call? With the adapter, you can use any headphones of your choice and answer calls at the same time since the adapter has an integrated microphone. Otherwise you have to swap.
BTW, iPhone does have a 3.5 jack but only the ulgy white apple headphones actually fit into the jack, have you noticed?

No wi-fi,no Gps,no 3.5mm jack pot,no UIQ...,yet SE claims that w902 is the new walkman flagship.the most annoying thing is that, for years we have been begging SE but SE dont really care about us. little things like this really affect sales.believe me,it is the gospel truth.

SE should have made w902 a UIQ phone.

And traditionally no 3,5 mm audio jack. Even iPhone 3G has it.

I know Eldar back at mobile review is pretty pissed at these phones but from recent events at least here in holland it's gonna be a major succes because the C902 has just been launched for a month now and it's selling like crazy I almost don't see people with an LG secret or a samsung soul. People just love the idea (so sony ericsson's strategy) of an ultra slim phone with 5 mpxl and don't think it's because it is high end the W350i is also selling real good since it is available in a prepaid pack for 120,- on T-mobile
So I think all these three phones will become a huge succes once again not for the experts but for the actual consumers.

Nee, 23 Jul 2008the concept of old and new its not the case here , people r... moreSo, thanks for the lesson, man (just kidding). I'm not telling that nokia is a bad brand, but the performance of the N-Series really made my trust in Nokia come down. When i was saying about old, it's not about what i mean like Siemens like old. It's old in market, that helps a lot to get some fidel users. Look at motorola: When you're on the street, a couple of friends of you loves motorola. So, my point was: Sony Ericsson is an emergent on the market, like HTC. And Nokia is really agressive in their market campaigns. Sorry about my english, it's not my first language, as you can see. I was a little bit nervous, because I had an N73, and its software bugged about four times, then the Nokia support said that there's nothing that they could do. Now I have a K850, and i'm very veery pleased with it. So, i've changed my mind for changes, and lots of users may change it too. Maybe I was just unlucky, but even being unlucky i've had spent money. Understood?

[deleted post]the concept of old and new its not the case here , people r not gonna buy a phone just measuring how old a phone vander is, i hope u too do so,

second the statics werent collect all time total sales of mobiles it s just indecating in short terms vise , even they dived a year in to four , you would know what first , Sec , third quarter means , so evnetually they collect information Quarter vise i stil remeber Nokia holds over 48 /% of mobiles sales during 1Q 2008.

third jus bying a HTC wont give u great mutimedia device , HTC r meant only for bussniess + connectivity, where else Nokia persent Mutimedia + Bussiness + Connectivity all in single device call N series , and only for bussniess + connectivity we would rather perfer E series .

i could say SE was innovative once they release W,K series ,but they time has pass look at S60 OS , implement each day symbain carries a new thing on it , i hope they days SE counts , where Nokia aggresvlly attcks not with symbain but with S40 , SE only a competition to S40.

Nokia may be leading in the mobile phone market (due to good business marketing strategies) but Sony Ericsson has the best music phones. Their Walkman player is unbeatable. I least that is what I think after using several phones from other companies.

I like this line from GSMArena and its what I've been looking for in a handset:

"The general build quality of the Sony Ericsson W595 is great. The handset feels great in hand and there were no creaking sounds whatsoever. The rubberized surface also provides one of the best grips we have seen in a mobile phone - the W595 just sticks to your hand."

What feels good in my hands is what I'll buy.

W 902 is highly impressed by K750i ,W595 is a clone of W595,with the W302i got da feeling is it child of W880i + w890 ha , i m pretty sure this range of mobiles is not gonna change the market .by the time of they interduce W series it was big hit infact they took away some busnness from Nokia but from them it is the only differences i saw in SE mobiles is just more pixles + and sake music points, there is no way Sony gonna beat up giant Nokia , first thing u gonna watch for Samsung and now LG .

Why does SE always leave out AF on their mid-range phones??

                                    I just don't understand it.
