Samsung screwed up with the pricing of their A series for the 2024 lineup, if you put on consideration the devices that the competition has on those same price segments offering better specs for the same money. Both A35 and A55 should be at least 100$ cheaper to start making sense.

I also tested sd 4 gen 2 which is also made in 4nm Samsung node, and it offer great thermal stability. I'm glad, we need more competition. I don't want Qualcomm and Mediatek to be only soc players.

          Should cost below €300 and I guess the price will soon drop close to this.
          Otherwise Xiaomi 13T is the best phones to get now at its current price.

                This phone is just a disaster. There are tons of offerings from Chianese manufacturers at the same price with much better design as well as overall specs.

                  In my country the price of the 128 is already around 370 euros, one month or two of waiting and then it will reach the right price.

                    US's midranger game is lacking. OnePlus is giving Samsung L's in the US midranger game, especially when Nord CE4 is gonna release and is gonna make A54 eat dirt.

                      Finally a worthwhile soc upgrade over a52s, too bad it took over 2 years.

                        Honestly the exynos 1480 is actually a good chipset

                        The A55 is still overpriced tho

                          I think the best competition for this is Oneplus Nord 3, which wins because of superior processor and changing speed. Not as many security updates but enough for most people.

                            in 50MP photos the A55 is worse than the A54, if you look at the grass that is under the colored snail, this is all out of focus

                                It seems like Exynos 1480 is really an improvement

                                  Users states that A55 stutters too like a54. Samsung didn't surprise.
