I'm also pretty sure Transsion primarily designs their products inhouse (though there are exceptions like Villaon by oraimo which seems to be ODM hardware - their phones look nothing like other Transsion brands)

bubla, 09 Apr 2024ax support 2,4ghz... look on router : Mikrotik RouterBOARD ... moreIt sells very well in many Africa and Latin America countries, 5G isn't "mainstream" there yet (compared to western and some Asian countries) and coverage isn't optimal yet in countries where it is available already, 4G+/LTE Advanced is still enough for ordinary users.
Being unavailable on the Chinese market didn't prevent Transsion Holdings (Itel - Infinix- Tecno) to jump from 10/11th to 5th just in few years of the highest selling brands on the worldwide market.
Your analyzes of its potential commercial success are based only on preconceived ideas and erroneous prejudices.

but everything from Tecno is... it resembles a luxurious homeless person.
he's still homeless... what's worse, this is probably not even for sale in India, not at all in China, launching a phone without 5G there is madness.
they just bring garbage to the world...

that's like saying you don't want the latest security patches that fill those gaps
sure you could be fine without them, but that doesn't legitify those companies not providing them, even with some price off from those other competitions

idk why everyone likes ultrawide sensor.I had a22 and a51 both had blurry oil painted photos by ultrawide lens.Ultrawide lens is good only on flagship phones.Having a telephoto sensor is good though especially on midrange phones.
