We need to know the sensor size from the supportive cameras.
if its over 1/1.5 its the best camera phone on the market.
I own Huawei and latest Iphone and Samsung, due to limited market options where I reside.
Huawei still holds up well since 2018s Mate 20 Pro. Faster charging 40w on Huawei charges faster then 45W on the Samsung. IR blaster and other small things makes it kinda better then the competition.

Retractable lens and IP68 don't convince me, everything mechanical, expecially on the outer skin, is susceptible to defects.

Don't see any reason to upgrade from the p60, in fact the p60 has a better shape. P60 is still a beast, I'll wait for the mate 70

Huawei has no reason whatsoever to lower the price given the nature of its main target audience and presumably a higher manufacturing cost of the SoC (low yield rate of SMIC's foundry) compared to its peers.
Pura 70 series is overpriced for sure, but Huawei wouldn't care because this is completely intentional - It's not like any of us who live in a Western country would've spent money on it even if it had been priced more competitively when cheap upper midrange phones Xiaomi and BBK with a fully functional GMS exist in the market anyway. Mainland Chinese people, on the other hand, would buy it regardless of the price.

You see, the problem is, I can't respond logically to someone who instantly makes stuff up and doesn't hesitate to spew awful nonsense like "the first thing any system camera buyer does with their new camera is disabling the image processing" or "You do not need image processing". Like, if you live in a parallel universe then I don't think anything I say would ever reach you. Maybe the sky is green and the ocean is yellow in your world, but that's not the world that I'm currently in.
I think you should seek a better way to draw attention to yourself instead of trolling. I'm not interested in talking with someone who has legitimately zero idea what they are saying yet keeps acting like they understand all.

WOW. This is the first Huawei I've wanted to buy since the P30 Pro. The camera is such a leap ahead in terms of fast-moving subjects that it's worth the workarounds needed to run GMS (via Gbox or Microg) plus alternatives to GMS. Well done Huawei. You're back.
