why i'm hvn trouble with my google playstore for two weeks i been reported no connection retry is it anything or anybody can tell me why all of the sudden i hv this problem it's very annoying that i can't acess this app please please help me!

I've been using the HTC Desire for the past 14 months up until it got stolen.I loved the phone so much but I couldn't be able to get it back.I don't know if you could help me with anything for me to get it back.The worse part is that they were on limited eddition here in SA. ashker, 19 Jan 2011I have a htc desire there many problems have phone struck a... morehay it depends how u r using it where u r using it etc,first back up ur info from phone then do a hard reset remember everything from the phone will be deleted,then start again using the phone step by step,try to use a wi-fi while connecting the phone with internet first time it will be easy to get set.....goodluck!

it means the memory card slot is easily accessible without removing the back cover or battery of the phone..

Will Desire have 2.3 GingerBread update as well sometime later? Please tell me so that I can go ahead and buy it else I amy go for Desire S. But I am huge fan of Desire. So please if somebody could reply to me query.

sudan, 13 May 2010Im from sudan . i can't go to android market website .it sa... moreThe Android Market will not let you download APK packages directly. If you do manage to download packages from other sources, you can sideload them without much difficulty.
First, go to the application drawer -> Settings -> Applications and check the box marked 'Unknown sources'
Then, connect your device to a computer via USB as a storage device and copy the APK file to the SD card. Next, using a file manager app, browse to the folder on the SD card and install the package.
Doing it this way, though, the hardest part will be installing the file manager app. ;-)

agd19682, 19 Feb 2011I have been using the HTC Desire for the past 3 months now.... moreYour problem with build quality seems to be a sort of one-off issue given that my Desire, here in India, and the handful of Desires owned by friends worldwide are solidly built and have performed flawlessly through.
Rooted, running GingerVillain 1.7, and humming along comfortably.
